5 simple ways to elevate your yoga space at home

Let’s be honest. Practicing yoga at home isn’t as ideal as being in the studio. But for the health and safety of our community we must stay home during these times. Stay yogi strong with us by adapting to continue your dedication to the practice! Our studio has adapted quickly moving classes online to continue serving our yogi community and we have found some simple ways to help make your own spaces feel more zen-like.

  1. Choose an inspiring focal point

    Position your favorite painting, framed photo, or plant to add some joy to your space. Directing your attention to that item during your practice will hold your focus.

  2. Clear your space

    A freshly clean space allows for no distractions and your mind can focus on your practice, rather than thinking about the need to vacuum.

  1. Set the tone with music

    Play soft and calming music in the background to set the mood for the class.

  2. Use calming scents

    Light a candle, incense or use essential oils to fill your space with a calming aroma. Lavender is our favorite!

  3. Turn on a space heater

    We know you can’t get the maximum heat that we can in the studio right now, but having a space heater placed near you can enhance your practice at home substantially.
